Ecological site concept
Currently there is only a draft of the initial concept for this ecological site. The initial concept for this site places it within the Shallow Rocky 8-14 PZ Black Sagebrush Ecological Site Group. This site occurs on escarpments as inclusions on among moderately deep and deep soils on all aspects. The plant community is very similar to the correlating Nevada site, and is dominated by bluebunch wheatgrass, black sagebrush, and Thurber’s needlegrass with a production range of 200 lbs/ac to 600 lbs/ac. This site has five stable states.
